WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
• Hand Wash (Preferred): Hand washing is ideal for maintaining the natural texture of jute fabric. Use mild detergents and cold or lukewarm water. Avoid wringing or scrubbing.
• Washing Machine (Optional):
  • Use a gentle cycle or the delicate setting.
  • Place the jute fabric in a mesh laundry bag to protect it.
  • Wash with similar colors and use a mild, chemical-free detergent.
  • Avoid hot water, as it can shrink or distort the fibers.
CLEANING & STAINS REMOVAL:
• Use a soft, dry cloth or a gentle brush to remove dust and dirt regularly.
• For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Do not soak the jute material.
• Treat spills immediately by blotting (not rubbing) with a clean, dry cloth.
• For tough stains, use a mixture of mild detergent and lukewarm water. Test on a small area first.
RINSING & DRYING
• Rinse with clean water until all detergent is removed.
• Press the water out gently instead of wringing, which can damage the fibers.
• Hang the fabric in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight as it can fade the natural color and weaken the fabric.
• For delicate jute items, lay them flat on a clean towel to dry, ensuring they maintain their shape.
IRONING TIPS
• Set your iron to a low or medium setting. Use the "cotton" mode if your iron doesn’t have a dedicated jute setting.
• Iron the fabric when it’s slightly damp for best results. If dry, lightly mist it with water before ironing.
• Place a cotton cloth or muslin over the jute fabric to protect it from direct heat.
• Steam can leave watermarks or weaken the fibers over time.
ADDITIONAL CARE TIPS
• Keep jute items in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding to prevent creases; roll the fabric instead.
• Use cedarwood balls or sachets in storage areas to naturally keep pests away.
• Mild color fading may occur after washing due to the nature of the dye so wash gently to maintain longevity.
